    Gunslinger

This is one of the better adaptation for a comic book I've seen (with Anita Blake being about the only better I can think of off the top of my head). It also has great art from Alex Maleev who I am a fan of some of his work but dislike others. I think this series really suits his art (like Spider Woman and unlike Moon Knight) as I also think Isanove's colours goes really well with it. The only thing I think is cause it's not a direct adaptation and more a filler between and during the original book series that it drags on some series'. I would much prefer a straight up adaptation.

This issue we see Roland fight Slow Mutants who live under ground. We also see how Roland and Jake's relationship goes with Jake asking if he was really going to leave him. That's about all that happened this issue but the gun shooting was good and it (as always) had alot of good dialogue.

Final verdict. One of the better series based on novels and this series in The Dark Tower mini series is one of the best (although I jumped on when it was re titled with the suffix Gunslinger).

    Rating: 3/5
