Help in the Dark Tower
If you are like me and read way too much comics, then you may be like me that reads the Stephen King adaptations since his real novels cut into your comic time. If so Dark Tower has been great, eh? What you you classify it as? I say Western Steampunk with a little bit of magic.
Ad great as the series is, the breaks between hardcovers tend to affect how much I remember. I can remember core things and key characters, but for get some of the universe. Forgive me, like I said I read too much. By the forth of fifth Hardcover, this guide book is not as helpful, but from Gunslinger is Born to Treachery reading this guide book helped to refresh where I left off.
It kind of sucks that some of this book was not collected in the Hardcovers that I know of. I have yet to read the journey begins, so may be its collected there as a re-intro. Either way, if you want to read Dark Tower, this book is not needed if you read the books condensed. This book came in handy when waiting between books. So no need to hunt it down.
Pros:
- Guide book
- Not a whole lot of pictures.
Cheers
