    Dark Kitty is a homage to Marvel's Black Panther - a series that was also written by Christopher Priest at the time. In Quantum & Woody #20 Woody appears to be reading a copy of a Dark Kitty comic when he breaks the fourth wall by saying "God, they just let any idiot write this stuff, don't they."
