    Character History

A.I.-11, code name Darius, is a former farmer from Earth who was abducted by unidentified aliens. He somehow ended up on the planet Acheron where he was experimented on by a scientist named Mardok.

Mardok created many robotic beings, but considered most of them to be failures and cast them out of his fortress home. Darius started to take care of these outcasts and eventually fought Mardok for their rights and freedom. Mardok defeated Darius and stripped him of his memory before sending him off-planet.

Darius eventually found his way to Cairn and joined the L.E.G.I.O.N. R.E.C.R.U.I.T.S. where he became a loyal member of the team and close friend with Bertron Diib.

When Darius fell in battle with the super-mercenary Varkan, Vril Dox found a chip in Darius' head that suggested he was created on Acheron.

On Acheron, the L.E.G.I.O.N. team encountered a swarm of androids who repaired Darius and revealed his origin to them. The newly-repaired Darius and his teammates then confronted Mardok and Darius ultimately killed him when Mardok threatened genocide on all of his creations. Darius then chose to remain on Acheron and lead the cybernetic beings there.

Darius eventually became involved in the L.E.G.I.O.N. organization again and assisted them during the galactic turmoil caused by Alexander Luthor.

    Powers and Abilities

Darius is an artificially created intelligent human cyborg equipped with formidable armor capable of firing concussive blasts and withstanding most small-weapons armament.
