Daredevil
Character » Daredevil appears in 326 issues.
After his parents were killed, Bart Hill originally took up the crime fighting guise as the boomerang wielding Daredevil. A character who has fallen into the Public Domain, Bart Hill has appeared in various comic books as the Death-Defying Devil, Reddevil, and Devil by different companies.
Death-Defying DareDevil
It should be fine for them to use, "Death-Defying Daredevil" as a title.
He is the original and Marvel's version pales in comparison.
"Marvel's Daredevil is far better..but B.Hill is still good.Marvel's title is just. "Daredevil.""

I can agree to disagree. The original is better not only in is visual appearance, but his weapons and he looks to be the stronger of the two.
Also, he's not blind. Low blow I know. I just like Bart Hill better.

"Yes, Hill's costume is better. I like the color, spikes and his weapons."That's like saying Hulk's costume is better than Superman's.

That's not a logical comparsion. At least Hill's costume isn't one color. Marvel's version is lackluster.
"Vance Astro said:No..Daredevil's costume is more intricate...Hill is wearing a tu-tone unitard with his mask built into it.Who cares is if Matt's costume is one color..he can see it anyway."Cezar_TheScribe said:"Yes, Hill's costume is better. I believe this is another Captain Marvel situation. Marvel has trademark for the title Captain Marvel, so DC's book about the original Captain Marvel has to be called "SHAZAM!" Marvel has trademark on Daredevil, so the book has to be called something else. I'm sure if they wanted to they could still call him Daredevil inside. Image is calling him Daredevil inside Savage Dragon.

" The Death-Defying 'Devil steps up to become a central figure in the continuation of the series. But that's no surprise, given Ross' opinion of this character's impact on comics. "I knew that I would really like doing anything with the Golden Age Dare Devil, because the design is one of the most important in the history of comics," notes Ross. "Steve Ditko's Spider-Man design owes a great debt, let alone Marvel's Daredevil."Steve Ditko doesn't owe anyone for anything.Matt Murdock is nothing like Bart Hill..he never has been and he never will be.

No, he is not called Shazam within the book. He is still Captain Marvel. However, the book is called "SHAZAM!" and all the Captain Marvel action figures say "SHAZAM!" - not Captain Marvel. Marvel's Captain Marvel books are titled "Captain Marvel" however. This is the same type of situation.
