I was thinking either Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper, Joseph Gordon Levitt, or maybe James Franco. Who do think?

Tbh, When I look at DD in the comics I could see Matt Damon playing him .

But my choice would be someone that looks "Intelligent" I think the actors you listed look too "Innocent"

IMO innocent is how he's supposed to look.How he actually is, is something different entirely.I wouldn't want any of those guys playing Daredevil though.James Franco can be bad ass but I would rather Marvel use Frank Miller's DD and I mean really use it.Almost copy the Man Without Fear arc page for page.

The odd thing is that TMWF contradicts several things about DD as the character we know, notably his unwillingness to kill.
