There's been many artists on Daredevil through the years. Some of them have given a defintive styles to ol'hornhead but which artist is the one that is the definitive daredevil artist.
Well to me personally it's Gene Colan. Which artist do you think is the definitive daredevil artist?
Daredevil
Character » Daredevil appears in 4764 issues.
As a child, Matt Murdock was blinded by radioactive waste while trying to save an elderly stranger about to get hit by a truck carrying the dangerous material. In turn, his other senses were heightened to superhuman sharpness and he gained a form of "radar sense". By day, he is a successful trial lawyer; but by night, he guards Hell's Kitchen as Daredevil: the Man Without Fear.
The Definitive Daredevil Artist
I made a thread about this and put Colan on the list above Maleev.People didn't like it.Colan's DD is awesome to say the least.Being someone who has actually read every comic from #1 to #508 Colan's art is what I remember most about Daredevil Vol.1.He did alot of the art for my favorite arcs.
Frank Miller at #1 (with a nod to Klaus Janson), David Mazzucchelli #2, and John Romita Jr at #3 are the definitive Daredevil artists I'd say.

David Mazzuchelli, Gene Colan, John Romita, John Romita Jr., Alex Maleev. Plenty of people have done great work drawing Daredevil, but I think these are the guys who truly made him theirs.
I don't know if I can say definitive but my favorites are David Mack, Alex Maleev, and Frank Miller. I also like the more cartoony style so I also like Samnee
The "definitive" Daredevil artist for me has got to be Maleev. It's so moody and sleek looking to me, I love it. Colan is good too, and so is Lark. Hell, I'm even enjoying Samnee during this current run and I also wouldn't have minded if Allred continued for more than one issue.
Confession time though: never been huge on John Romita Jr.'s art. I tolerated it during the better stories like "The Man Without Fear" but to me his art has just been on a steady decline throughout the years (seriously it's getting worse just look at the current Captain America run). Oh, and Quesada's art is meh to me as well.
