Mark Waid has been dropping hints about Daredevil's near future since being announced as the new writer. One of them came in an interview with CBR where he suggests we might see DD join a Marvel team. 

I'm on for the foreseeable future, and Steve [the Editor] and I have talked about the first year in some detail. I can't be too specific right away because we're trying to coordinate properly with the rest of the Marvel line, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Matt working with (or being drafted into?) one of the existing Marvel teams before long.

I perfer him as a solo character but if I had to choose it would be New Avengers because they have more members that have been close to him.

Hopefully DD goes to a team.He would fit perfectly on the Heroes for Hire because he has history with all the members,He would fit perfectly on the FF as well because they also have history dating back to the beginning of DD vol.1 and the same with the Avengers.The Heroes for Hire are more his style because they are all street levelers but I would rather the FF because they are more obscure in comparison to the Avengers which I think would show some thinking outside of the box on the part of Marvel.The Secret Avengers could work but that team is just wrong...the book hasn't been written well since the beginning and I don't want DD playing the background.

Marvel knows very well that most of their characters can't survive without being on a team.Daredevil is popular but he's not THAT popular.You would think he would be Spider-Man\Wolverine level by now...but he's been absent from half of Marvel's events.I think Shadowland probably lost him some fans.It would be awesome for him to finally join the Heroes for Hire and maybe stay on as a long time member so that even when he's not on the team you still identify it as "Daredevil's team".

Idk if I like DD for the FF. He's never really been a major ally to them like Spider-Man. Heroes for Hire would be pretty sweet. The Secret Avengers would be perfect for him.

Marvel Knights were just awesome and I'd like to see them make a comeback.

I think he needs Heroes for Hire to get back on his feet. And possibly a new identity. It's not like they never employed former villains before.

He works better alone. He never seems to be very social with other heroes.

 At this point, Heroes for Hire would be Matt's best team to be one. He's not in Avengers mode unless he would be legal consult.

I think they (DD and Spider Woman) are pretty much outsiders within the Marvel Universe. Besides the occasional team-up, Dare Devil sticks to himself and after the whole invasion thing, Spider Woman is now putting her life together. So that is something that they might feel they have in common.

Given time. He'd be great with Spider-Man, but Parker is with the New Avengers if I'm up to date, and Matt seems pretty fine on his own. We can only wait and see what happens next.
