I'm relatively new to daredevil comics, and I'm just wondering which comic is daredevils canon origin - Man without fear or Daredevil yellow? Or is his origin a mix of both?

Well Daredevil was created in 1964. Original he had a Yellow suit. But soon changed it for a red one.

In 1970's, the comics code had been loosen up (this period is call the Bronze age).

In 1980 Frank Miller took over the title and revampted it to an even more darker title. So Daredevil's origins was a little bit adapted.

Latter in the 90's, Frank Miller wrote a mini-serie telling his vision of Daredevil's origins in "The Man Without Fear".

Even latter in the 00's, the duo Jeff Loeb / Tim Sale did a series of revised origin stories on Daredevil (Daredevil: Yellow), Hulk (Hulk: Grey) and Spider-man (Spider-Man: Blue).

They way I see things is I concider the Daredevil title to be the canon. Since every writters since Frank Miller use his darker version of Daredevil, I consider Frank Miller's origin as the true one.

I consider Jeff Loeb's origins as another point of view. That try to include the old Golden/Silver age origins with the Bronze/Modern age versions of the heroes.
