Danny Noonan is the protagonist and narrator of Young Liars.
Creation
Danny was created by David Lapham.
Character Evolution
Danny starts out as an aspiring musician who, while having no real discernible talent, is convinced that he is a musical genius. His life changes forever when he meets girlfriend Sadie, a young woman who is turned from spoiled brat to adrenaline junkie when a bullet becomes lodged in her brain.
As Danny is an unreliable narrator, it is sometimes difficult to tell which parts of his story are true, and which are products of the mental illness he is later diagnosed with.
