Government Issue Joseph and the Girl of Danger

It should be noted perhaps that I am not a particularly big fan of either the espionage genre nor of the war genre, but after looking around for another series with some strong female leads I came to this one.  I am aware of both the G.I. Joe concepts as well as that behind Danger Girl, but I didn't think that they were necessarily compatible.  After reading about three pages of this though it really didn't matter.  The issue (and series) starts off with as pulse pounding of a dogfight as possible before getting into the intrigue.  The intrigue is correspondingly good and really doesn't drop of much in action from the start.  In fact this is one of those issues that just seems to pass by in the blink of an eye.  Maybe not deep or memorable, but this is a really fun and exciting issue.
