Il suicidio di Aleister Crowley last edited by SamanPatou on 08/06/20 01:04PM View full history

While she’s investigating Aleister Crowley, the occultist who disappeared in the fight against the Great Old Ones, the psychic Ann Jurging finds a flimsy thread that links the magician to the great Portuguese poet, Fernando Pessoa. While they knew and admired each other, there’s an enigma in their lives. It has something to do with Crowley’s mysterious disappearance in 1930, near a seaside cliff known as Boca do Inferno (or Hell’s Mouth). Why did Pessoa help the notorious Magus? What’s the dangerous tantric rite that Crowley was trying to perform in the Gothic architecture of the sinister Quinta da Regaleira? Why did Ann dream about the terrible Lisbon earthquake and the imaginary islands of the Atlantic? To save Europe, Ann, with Harlan, Tesla, Kurjak, and Bobby Quintana, will have to retrace Crowley and Pessoa’s steps, to prevent the sea from giving birth to the terrifying city of R’lyeh once again…
