During The Battle Of Lianna, Dama's Jedi Master Ceil Vookto was killed, which left Dama an orphaned Jedi Padawan. After the funeral of his master, where many grieveing including himself, he became the Padawan of Ki-Ad-Mundi for a short amount of time.
Shortly after the order for Order 66 to proceed was given, Dama was captured by The Galactic Empire and was severely tortured. During one of these torture sessions, Darth Vader tried to get information on the location of Obi-Wan Kenobi from Dama. However, Dama refused to break and refused to tell him the location of the Jedi, and in anger Darth Vader murdered him personally by snapping his neck, something which Darth Sidious did not approve of as he had further interrigations planned for Dama.
