    DD must have lost his right eye as a puppy. He was found alone by Venom Snake in 1984 during a mission. He was then taken by Fulton Recovery to Diamond Dog's mother base, which is now his home.

    As a puppy was with Ocelot during Snake's return to mother base. Ocelot intended on training him seeing the pup useful in the future

    When DD had fully grown, Venom Snake had DD accompany him during missions.

    Appearance

    DD resembles that of an African golden wolf but his true breed is unknown.

    He has grey hair.
