this had been a hot button issue for many posters for a few years now. Looks like Johns/DC and Mr. Walker have a plan for Cyborg's character evolution

IT'S ABOUT TIME!

I was hoping the comics would take the approach one of the recent Justice League movies did. His body is mostly scarred, but his midsection is intact. They just covered his body in machine parts. I hated how only his face was human. Like isn't he a biological being? if he eats and drinks, he wouldn't even have an organic body to process the food. It still kind of annoys me.

Yes I want him more like he was pre new 52, not robocop.

I do like his new, sleeker look based off what I've seen so far, more closely resembles his TV & classic 80s self, i.e. he appears to be part man, part machine instead of a human head attached to a robot body. I like the idea of there being more of his organic body left intact and his armor serving as a life support system, he just looks better that way instead of being all clunky and overloaded with metallic junk. And like you said, if he can eat and drink then he must still have a digestive system & all that entails too. He's still a bionic man, there's just more of his flesh & blood left over now than there was before & I think the look suits him, makes him look more heroic & less like a weapon of mass destruction lol, but still badass and high tech.

And judging from the cover of the upcoming Cyborg #6, things are looking to get even better for Cyborg!

Cyborg #6 came out today. I won't spoil anything but Cyborg fans need to pick this issue up

This was never an issue for me. His intelligence, determination, and heart is what makes him one of my favorites and is way more important when pertaining to him being a hero, not his twig and berries.

Still isn't boning but it looks like it can be an option. He regenerates then adds on his armor..wht the half mask still? Idk. Full mask or no mask(I think how advanced the nanotechnology is he should be able to take a face shot).

I LOVE New 52 Cyborg. I love the league. He's become funnier like his TV versions. I still like the relationship he has with his father. I still think being nanotechnology is good enough to keep some of the woe is me/man between two worlds(technosapiens were awesome for this and should stay. As well as Grid and the digital universe). Two different views he have on his situation or great story arcs. Most of all I love how powerful he is. If If the If the league re the gods of the DC world, Victory is the God of tech(I see no reason why the metal didn't choose him). He's probably the most advanced piece of tech in the known universe. One thing they haven't done is play on this. He's mentioned as young alot but they never show how his youth and stature as a God really shows out. There's other young God's but they have mentors of some kind and questionable if more powerful(theorictical) as Cy.

So besides having a great power set(becoming Cyberion but still human), being thrown at his age(also lack of experience, 5 years but before that wasn't training to be a hero) into one of the most powerful beings and on the League.

The last bit for New 52 Cyborg is love interest(also being funnier, around Billy he gets to be young). It's important for any character. I personally would like more interaction with the Titans or the Outsiders(Red Hood's team or a team that resembles the old team. Too old for the Titans, too young for the League). Maybe a stint or two with an older superheroine.

I wouldn't say Vic is the most advanced "technology" of the known universe. He is the pinnacle of human evolution through technology. That's a big effing deal. He's living the technological singularity today. Cyborg is literally a man hundreds, thousands, maybe millions, of years ahead of his time. Think 'synthesis' from Mass Effect.

I'm really loving this new nanotech angle. So much potential for a character that hasn't gotten the love he deserves.

Cyborg has sex in issue 6 of the new series

He's developed a connection with Sarah Charles. She's basically his Lois lane or iris west. DC is playing long game with that though and having him be romantically involved with other women like variant. He's also gotten some new friends like exxy who matches his humor similar to beast boy or Shazam. Semper is setting up some really important characters so hopefully DC catches on to this and utilize these characters well
