The open source character of Moon Wolf, created by Corey Grant, has been released to the Public Domain, and is available for use by anyone with only the following conditions: this paragraph must be included in any publication involving Moon Wolf, in order that others may use this property as they wish, following the same rules as Public Domain properties. The main rule being that your version's story cannot be like the story of anyone else's version (meaning: you may not reference elements from the story you find the character in, because they belong to that story's author, and are not open source).

There is a "Moon Wolf" character listed on Comic Vine:

I'm not sure how this one would work. "Moon Wolf" is not common, so it might be something trademarked and copyrighted by Marvel, in which case they would defend it, and the name is not viable.

On the other hand, I think it's reasonable to assume that multiple creators might come up with the name based on a werewolf getting its power from the moon (as I'm assuming Corey did). Based on that, I think the name should be viable as an Open Source Character name.

Also: the Marvel character makes no sense. He thinks he's summoned a crow god, but names himself Moon Wolf? Ooookay. Weird. But whatever. It's Marvel... so proceed with caution.
