    Proper Japanese Title: クッキー

Cookie started out as a special issue of Ribon in 1999 (with a second issue released a few months later), but was more specifically, a rebranding of the then-current magazine Bouquet. Bouquet ended in 2000, and its editorial department shifted over to Cookie which became an independent magazine and began publishing at a monthly rate later that year (beginning with 2000/07). Considered a revival at the attempt of reaching out to teenage girls (as Ribon Teens had tried a few years earlier), the material is sometimes considered shojo and other times josei due to the fact the targeted audience is older than Ribon (shojo) but younger than Cocohana (josei).

Since 2012, the magazine has slowed to a bimonthly numbering rate though it still kept the numbering the same, so even numbers for the bimonthly years do not exist. For example, in 2015, the six issues released were 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11. When it was still a monthly magazine, Cookie had its own special issue, Cookie Box, which was published quarterly.
