Cimmerian tribes and the forces of the Aquilonian fortress of Venarium go to war and conan is caught up in the middle.

Conan and allies of cimmeria battle the enemies forces and despite loses on both sides turn the tide and wins the war. Afterward war breaks out between the various tribes.
