    A powerful lethal gas that could kill many living being on the planet. The gas was invented in a secret Marine base.

    Nitro tried to steal the compound and he was stopped by Captain Marvel. During the fight, the gas capsule became cracked and this caused a gas leak. Captain Marvel sealed the capsule with his bare hands and thus was directly exposed to the toxic compound. This is the reason of his cancer. His Nega-bands delayed the toxic effects of the gas but he died seven years later due to this exposure.
