    Pirates in nineteen-forty-one? Not much chance of that, you might think.

    Well, neither did Dave Tulley. Yet there he was, patrolling the islands off Burma day after day, searching for just such a band of brigands. And a tedious business it was, too.

    However, things were about to hot up considerably, because the pirates were out on a search of their own - for him!
