Do you just want to board and bag the comics so they don't get damaged? Those polypropylene bags you listed should do. If you want want to get into the more serious stuff, do a search for Mylite bags and acid-free boards. I bag & board all my books because I'm OCD like that. The books I get via DCBS are mylite bagged, the ones I buy at the LCS are poly bagged ('cause I can't find mylites locally).

@604comics: Yes. I don't plan on having any CGC graded or anything. What's the difference between the two types of bags?

Mylite bags don't contain any acid. Acid is enemy of paper, tends to discolour it over time (albeit a really long time). Really important stuff is bagged with mylite and acid-free boards. If you use poly bags and boards that contain acid, you may want to considering replacing the board/bag every 7 years or so.

When my brother orders Star Wars comics, they often times come in bags. They are simple, transparent bags, and I do not believe they are extremely high quality. But they do keep his comics in fairly good shape.

Just take the ones you have or count how many you have if there's too many to take with you, to your local comic book store and ask for that many bags and boards. They'll charge you accordingly.

It all depends on where you keep your comics.I have the most generic of bags and boards and my comics don't have any blemishes. The only comics I have with better protection are my Marvel Anniversary Variants and that's only because that's how bought them.

Go cheap, as long as you pack em well they will stay protected, if its a super important collector issue then get a more expensive one.

Definitely this. The mylites and acid-free boards offer the best protection for non-graded comics. Both polypropylene bags and boards should be changed every few years (5-7 ish) as to maximize the protection of your books. Here is a rather in-depth explanation of comic preservation.
