A new image from the October solicits. There's a falling out between Scott and Storm. Pretty obvious that Piotr chooses his side. I, disliking Storm, hope for a mega punch to the face region. Thoughts?
You're gonna get an onslaught from the raindrops on here if they see this. And is this during AvX or during the fallout? It's getting on my nerves to be quite frank. The X-Men have just fought the Avengers, they don't need to fight each other as well.
@Lvenger: Well, it's starting now. as Colossus called Storm out in the latest issue of X-men. I can only assume things get worse and come to a head as AvX comes to a close, but it does say he has his own agenda. So that could be related to Cyttorak or some Scott directive he was given. They make it seem as if he's leaving the team. -Shrugs- Either way, I'm happy he's not taking orders from her in the future.
Also...perhaps a mode should move this to the X-men forum? I'd enjoy seeing her fans respond!
@Rickbarry: Cyttorak did seem fine with sharing his host with a part of the Phoenix Force. When Cain Marko was temporarily possessed by the Uni Power, Cyttorak weakened him significantly. There must be some ulterior agenda he has this time with Pietro. And I don't think such an important, long term member would leave the team. Also you might not be wishing to hear the raindrops' response about the Please punch Storm in the face. Some of them can be very protective over Ororoe. But I like the title. Although I like Storm, given her performance recently, a punch to the face might be what she needs lol.

What performance recently? Lying to Scott? After reading the issues I'm with her on that. Your entitled to dislike her character Rickbarry, but this is pretty flame worthy knowing how some of her fans can react to people dissing Storm lol.
Oh and Psylocke is supposed to face off with Domino in the other solicit.

They're hardly together in the pages of the comics, just fought one another in AvX and Storm's powers haven't been utilised to their full potential in a while. Lol I'll give you that, losing to a weakened Valkrie and an unarmed Black Panther is just sad. I've yet to see how Wood handles her powers, but he has done a really good job bringing her back into the four front in this series so far.

I'd really like that, i hate the way so many writers have flushed that bond between them down the drain, oh well.
He hasn't really been himself over the last couple of years. Then again until recently neither has Ororo. Other than Betsy all my favorite X-Men were treated like crap over the last five years. it seems to be getting better, so I'm hopeful for each of them to come back and be awesome.
oh a Marvel fight? can't wait to see who gets KO by something like a tree branch or a magic amulet or some PIS.... maybe Colossonaut will get scared and give in again - that was an outstanding ending to a recent fight....

I have a question what you said this is recent? If so what series is it and the punch to the face I agreee storm need some sense MOLLYWHOPPED to her. But I dont think they would fight plus i think she would beat him(Maybe).

seriously storm would never hand to hand Colossus but with no phoenix or juggernaut upgrade she could pretty much just try to blow him away BFR him simply but why are the x-men recently just tearing each other apart like they all went insane or something . .

In the last two issues Storm made a tough choice that both Colossus and Domino disagreed with and it is being teased that there is going to be some in fighting. I don't see any of them acctually going at it with blows, but if they do it won't shock me all Marvel heroes do is fight one another these days.

And this is interesting because Piotr and Ororo have always been very close so if this cover is what will actually happen and not just a gimmick I hope the reason is deeper than "Aunt and Daddy" are fighting and i have to pick sides.

If anything, it will be Psylocke VS. Domino as that has actually been confirmed, this is just a cover to make gullible children wet their panties, which, as is evident, has already happened LOL (please read above comments). Didn't even need the ability of prognosis to figure that one out.

I always wish they expanded on the relationship between Scott and Piotr they hardly ever talk to each other even though Piotr is almost always one of the main members of Scotts team.
@Osian2: Yeah, it's been that way with almost all of the other X-men as of late. If they're not bickering they don't really spend any time together. I was also disappointed in that storyline. I would have thought that Cyclops would have done something to cheer Colossus up.

Exactly! That's what I didn't get. Scott had experienced loss before with Jean Grey, so why didn't he bring that point up? I just think it was all terrible writing for that particular issue.

The last time I remember them actually talking was during the second coming storyline. He blew his stack when he prioritized Hope over Magik...wait that was mission related as well. No one ever talks.

That is one thing I wish we'd see more during Gillen's run. He's a pretty good writer, but a little one on one would work wonders. Surely Emma and Piotr could have a convo. Yeah, I'm hoping the X-men books in the future have more relationships between the team members.
Saw a solicit somewhere Colossus may be leaving the team. If Marvel solicits something like that it most likely doesn't happen. However, this could be interesting for angle since Pete hasn't always been the most vocal X-men so him getting spotlight is a big YES YES YES to me.
I need to give Adjectiveless X-Men a shot since i have heard great things recently with it
@god_spawn: Yeah. Wood hasn't released a great many issues, but they're pretty darn good thus far. The storyline, unlike the last writer's, is actually interesting. Pixie isn't annoying either. This is a huge bonus to me.
