How about Ellen Degeneres for Emma Frost, and Elijah Wood or Wolverine, and William Shatner for Cyclops,why not...let Sean Penn play Beast and Taylor Swift can be Jean..then you throw in Cena as Colossus and the film is perfect. I can't wait for THAT one.
If this cast ever comes to be I will spay myself on the spot.
Actually, looking over it. There are some similarities.
Ellen = Emma. She exists, she's female, she's capable of speech.
Elijah = Wolvie. He exists, he's male, he's capable of speech. Even has dark hair.
William Shatner = Cyclops. He exists, he's male, he's capable of speech, nobody takes him seriously anymore.
@jhazzroucher: Physically, I see where you could think he'd be a perfect match, dude's stacked...not the guy for the job though. Colossus is a brawler but he's not a meathead. He's got some wicked psychological scars and they're deep ones...something that'd take some genuine acting chops.
Really? John Cena? Thats the worst thing Ive heard all day. Thats my sign to get off of here.. If they ever had a douche like that play my favorite x men member, I would be so pissed.
I continue to try and make sense of all the wrestling and John Cena fans on a comic book site - perhaps attempting to justify it as two segments of a fantasy world - but I simply cannot. There isn't a single comic character role that I would subject to the lack of acting ability or general appeal of someone so laughable as John Cena. I feel it would be just as worth my time and money to see him act in any comic / superhero aspect as it was so many years ago when I spent my allowance on a Tanya Harding comic book...

I'm more concerned with Cena's acting chops than his physicality, really. I haven't seen any Cena movies to be honest, but no one's ever described him as a nuanced and talented thespian either...
