Âs much as I luuuuv X-23 or as I will always remember Scarlet Spider from the comics I read when I was younger... I'll call Superboy the best clone around in comics.
Just the way he was introduced or how much of a clone he is compared to Superman.
Hands down, Conor!
Clone
Concept » Clone appears in 944 issues.
A staple of science fiction and super hero genres. The clone is an artificially produced genetic copy of an already existing creature. Many clones retain the original's characteristics and powers, but often result in warped and unstable characteristics.
Off THEIR Minds: Who Is The Best Clone?
I don't normally comment but I can’t help but feel you all forgot about what I believe to be the oldest clone in comics Judge Joseph Dredd, in fact there are aload of clones like his brother Rico Dredd and Judge Kraken and the clones of Dredd such as Judge Rico (the other one)
@Neverpraying: Power Girl is not a clone.
My favorite clones: Bizarro and Superboy.
Laura Kinney, Conner Kent. Out of those two Laura wins. Other than these two characters clones suck. There just a lazy device for writers to explain away deaths or ride the coattails of a popular character.
" @WW-Fan: Love the picture of Donna Troy!!! Trully beautiful! And if Donna Troy is acceptable as a clone of choice - count me in... And Power Girl but I don't know if 'clone' is the right term for PG and Donna... "
Donna is kind of a clone of Diana.. she was made for Diana as a playmade :) and Power Girl is not a clone! she isnt a clone of SuperGirl! she is a Supergirl from another universe! if you know what i mean :)
She still has nice breasts tho.
Also Boba Fett is one of my all time favorite clones.
Ben reilly was my favorite clone character due to the fact that while he was an honest to goodness clone of spider-man, he was not a copy of Peter Parker. He had his own individual identity, he wasn't obsessed with snatching away Parkers life, or getting revenge, or love struck with Maryjane. He had his own life. I started to loose interest when he became spider-man, and that was when I knew the end was near :(
Ben Reilly is a good of a good character getting screwed over because of a editor. You had what the Editors today want a single unmarried spider-man in Ben Reilly. You could have easily have Peter go off, have a somewhat normal life and only come back when Ben needed him. But the editors failed because they extended a storyline far passed it's ending point.
X-23 and Superboy are both characters though.
