A Good Restart
In this issue Cloak and Dagger storm a porn shop that employs children. Afterwards they seek shelter in a church, but in a fit of rage Cloak attacks the perishiners as sinners, swallowing them in his Cloak. Now usually I like to fill out the rest of the plot, but rereading the first sentence I realize that Cloak And Dagger would make a great addition to the "Maxx" comics from Marvel.
There are even darker tones to this title than there were in the original mini series. I am so far liking this. I especially like the scene of Cloak going crazy in a church. Also shaving one of the main characters off of the story in order to make them a villain, not the freshest of ideas, but still it was handled well, and shows promise of things to come.
