    The Anita Hill-Clarence Thomas "he said-she said" testimony on live television was quite a sight. However, just when it looked like his nomination was doomed due to Anita Hill's charge of sexual harassment, Thomas pulled a rabbit of his, hat so to speak. He referred to the hearing as "a high tech lynching". This language scared Joe Biden and the rest of the Democratic Senators and the hearing quickly came to a conclusion.
