The hit NBC television series comes to comics as Chuck Bartowski and his friends are about to take the world by storm—literally! From series co-executive producer Peter Johnson (Supernatural: Rising Son) and series writer Zev Borow joined with artists Jeremy Haun (The Leading Man) and Phil Noto (Jonah Hex) comes an adventure too big for television! Synopsis

Chuck dreams that he is trapped on a desert island with everyone he is close to. It seems like paradise, but he can't help but feel like he needs more. Sarah shows up and escorts Chuck to a machine that Casey found in the jungle. The machine seems to be a homing beacon. Casey wants to open it up, but Chuck, desperate to get off the island, pushes a button and blows up the island. Jeff and Lester look on in celebration.

Morgan wakes Chuck wakes up in the sound room at the Buy More. The two get back to the floor and Chuck asks around if others feel like he does - like he needs to get out and do something. The feeling is mutual.

At Disneyland, Casey intercepts Dr. Blaine Hecht, a bad guy attempting to pass some intelligence to a Fulcrum agent. He slips away from Casey but is taken down by Agent Walker, who is dressed as Cinderella. An interrogation of Dr. Hecht gets nowhere and Casey makes the call to have Chuck brought in.

Sarah invites Chuck to go for a ride (which he is all too ready to do) and the two head to Threatmax Prison, a secret, high security prison for the worst of the worst, many of which count the bad guys Chuck has help put away. The two meet up with Casey, who requests that Chuck see if he flashes on Dr. Hecht, who seems to have some information on another intersect project. Chuck enters the room and tries to make small talk with Dr. Hecht but ends up flashing on the guard, who is apparently a Fulcrum agent. The guard gets wise to being figured out and attacks Chuck.

In a whirlwind of events, Casey gets Chuck clear, Dr. Hecht releases all the bad guys that hate Chuck, Casey and Sarah beat up those bad guys, the three escape to the roof to find Dr. Hecht escaping with a convict named Tommy, and Casey divining that they need to head to Tokyo to stop Dr. Hecht from getting a bad guy version of the intersect.

Review: Chuck 01 0

This is the beginning of a story arc taking place between the first and second season of NBC's most entertaining show, Chuck. We pick up as Chuck daydreams of leaving the world he's become accustomed to, dreaming of something more than just being a tool for the government...but before he can even act upon his desires, he's thrust into a Fulcrum plot involving a secret prison base and an appearance by several villains from his past.  The Good The good news is that this most definitely feels like ...
