Little is known about Chair's history. A member of the mutant hero team the Eccentrics, his teammates often worry about the demons that drive him in battle.
He is known to be a loner and a rebel, and proud of it. There is an underlying fear among his compatriots that some day he may finally lose control of the monster within and destroy everything. However, they understand that he is his own man -- his own chair. Like the cheese, he stands alone.
After a mission (well, candy run) to the local convenience store goes south, Chair is left behind in the confusion and captured by the enemy.
When last seen, Chair was chained up, held prisoner and helpless to stop his doppelganger from infiltrating the team.
