    Out Of Reach 0

The Story: Catwoman escapes the cops and later runs into an old friend at Lola's funeral. While pulling a job, Catwoman comes into contact with a new villain named Reach. My Thoughts:Judd Winick has so far been doing a great job writing this new Catwoman series. Throughout all the controversy and criticism, a powerful and dramatic story has been in the making. At the end of last months issue, the cops walked in Lola's apartment to find a deadeye body, evidence burning and Catwoman present. I tho...

Catwoman Get Thrown All Around 0

Judd Winick and Guillem March have been giving us a few controversial issues of this Catwoman series. Now that we in issue number four, are we going to get a direction for this book?  THE GOOD: I like the detail the art has. If you look in the background you will see a whole bunch of details in the pages. I think that it makes for a good choice if you choose to read this again. Selina Kyle caught in the moment, what to do? This book presents itself as a action thriller. And it’s very well played out. The character interaction in nice, well felt, very connected from panel to panel. The flow and the offset matched very good. I enjoyed the cliffhanger the most it was wow! This title has been fire as most the Batman titles have been. I rate this book a 4.5 of 5.0 rating.http://djmaximusgodj.tumblr.com/1=wack, 1.5=falling asleep, 2=below average, 2.5=pick it up a bit, 3= av...

Sorry Guys, No Essay This Time 0

The Good: Guillem March does a great job making everything in this series look great. The emotionas are intense, the sexy women are sexy, and the panel layouts have a sense of fun about them. Everything flows very nicely in terms of panels. He also puts such excellent energy into every motion. The rum bottle getting kicked, Catwoman leaping from buildings, the blur of her whip, etc. Plus there's a lot of nice detal in everything. There's a lot of very tense emotional stuff in this issue, Catwoma...

Not a lot of public gatherings 0

After a lackluster third issue, this issue again picks up a bit of steam for the series.  The death of Lola turns out to not be as pressing an issue as it seemed like it might at the end of the previous issue, although it still provides for a decent amount of emotional development.  The funeral also leads Selena to meet up with an old colleague, Gwen, who may or may not know what Selena does to pay the bills.  Now without a fence Selena is forced into some less pleasant means to get some money, ...
