The two female movies I wanted from Marvel were Black Widow (Scarlett Johanson) and Ms Marvel! And I'm getting Ms Marvel! WOOOHOOOOOO

I hate the fact that they're already considering calling it Captain Marvel.

@Dernman: Not the build nor the face but maybe the skill, not anyone can fill up a superheroine costume and those who can don't have sufficient actig skill (with a few exceptions)

They should have had her movie before Avengers and had her in the Avengers instead of Black Widow.

This is great news. Ms Marvel is an awesome character who's finally getting the attention she deserves. More female heroines are needed if I'm honest and with the potential of SWORD, alien races like the Kree and the Skrull as well as a possible Mar-Vell cameo and link to Thanos, Ms Marvel is another character who deserves her place in the Marvel Cinematic universe line up. Here's hoping that she makes the cut to the Avengers!

DC have put out a Jonah Hex film before they put out the Green Lantern film. Shows the lack of judgement right there. If DC actually got themselves organised film wise, they could be putting more of their characters on the big screen and begin to keep up with Marvel who have a clear advantage over DC in terms of films.

Hmm, a Ms. Marvel film would be interesting but there's further progress on this rather than on Ant-man. I'm not impressed.

My best guess is that Carol joins the Avengers in the sequel, sort of what Earth's Mightiest Heroes is doing.

@Primmaster64: gotta admit marvel is better at doing movies for its characters. dc not so much unless its batman and look at how many shots it took them to get it right.

All the people complaining that Ms. Marvel got a movie before Wonder Woman should think this through logically. If they make a movie with a woman super hero and it does well then movie producers will be more willing to make other movies with female super heroes, so Warner will go looking for ideas and someone will say,"Hey we have one of the most well known female heroes in the world sitting on a shelf here." So basically people who want a Wonder Woman movie should hope this is a huge success because it will make it far easier to get the studio (ie the folks who pay for movies to get made) to green light it.

That would be truly great but not as captain marvel and with the lightning bolt costume.
