Carla Draper is the daughter of Carl Draper, also know as Master Jailer and like her father she is a genius who is able to create traps that have come close to defeating the mightiest of heroes.
Carla started her super-villain career as a way to gain her father's attention. She first stolen Carl Draper's Deathtrap program, and rebranded Locksmith. As Locksmith, Carla caught Superman (in his blue energy form) in an "energy hobble" for a brief period. Superman didn't suspect than it was another person behind the hologram and her father was unaware of this.
Carla Draper made an appearance in Superboy #26, under the name Snare. She responded to a request from the Hawaiian Special Crimes Unit to Draper Security for assistance in capturing the super-villain Knockout, who was on the run with a misguided Superboy in tow. Snare, aware of her father's obsession, tried to prove she could do something he could not by capturing Superboy. This led to a fight with the SCU, during which Superboy and Knockout escaped.
When Draper was "recruited" by Checkmate as Castelian, a mysterious hacker almost defeated the castle defenses. Draper hide the fact than his daughter was his main suspect of the attack.
