Mar-Vell's final battle against Stellarax spills onto the streets of Washington D.C.! Will Captain Marvel be able to prevent civilian casualties in this cosmic smack down for the ages?

The final showdown with Stellarax, as he attacks Washington D.C. and threatens to conquer the planet. Captain Marvel's adventures continue in Marvel Spotlight #1, #2, #4 and #8.

The cancellation was rumored to have been linked to a change in editorial staff at the time. The cover for the proposed Captain Marvel #63 was used on the cover of an industry magazine called "Comic Reader" in June of 1979.

Captain Marvel at his best! 0

   The final issue in the short lived, but always great Captain Marvel series. I'm a big fan Mar-vell, and am excited that Marvel's bringing him back in their new title, Dead Avengers, dark though it sounds. I always loved the Kree, they've gave us great characters like Ronan the Accuser, and Geni-Vell and Phyla-Vell, Noh-Varr, and helped to create the Inhumans.
