    Captain Atom #3

Captain Atom » Captain Atom #3 - Divine Intervention released by DC Comics on January 2012.

    Short summary describing this issue.

No recent wiki edits to this page.

Captain Atom is taking his powers to new heights – saving people all across the world in the blink of an eye. But he's not the only one who can move at super speed. Enter: The Flash! And when their paths cross, don't expect them to share the secret hero's handshake – because Captain Atom may be a bigger threat than any villain.

Captain Atom displays near god-like power saving people all over the United States. He even goes to a battle in Libya where he run into Flash (Barry Allan) who (surprise, surprise) is not a fan. Captain Atom then goes back to the Continuum and runs into General Eiling.

The Good: I gotta say, that's a fantastic cover. Bold and interesting, well balanced, and frankly, it's Artgem. But actually one of the more dynamic Artgem covers. Williams' art is improving. Sometimes the characters look a little too surreal, but the backgrounds look much better. Captain Atom's 'guardian angel' approach to superheroing is actually really interesting. It's something fairly unique, and the way its demonstrated as visually stunning.Oh man, the way that the Flash is introduced in t...
