@spiderbat87: I'm not going to say that his costume is timeless, it's already been updated several times and if the new 52's Superman shows anything it's that no costume is untouchable or sacred. That being said the more absurd parts of his costume are fine for now and won't have to be changed or disposed of until the present hits so hard that even capes are outlawed. This is comics and ridiculous costumes are a large part of the genre until that changes the less serious parts of his costume are fine
change the third one's green parts to blue and its okay. but, the rest are too ridiculous for words, especially the last one. But anyway his costume is fine the way it is now.
@spiderbat87: Those were better costumes, I just don't think Cap needs a new one, I won't complain if h gets one and I don't see a problem with it but I allso don't see a problem with his current one, I think Ironman gets 2 new costumes in the next few months, the non Magnetic one for AVX and the Tron one from his own series, So I'm sure Cap will at least get an update on his current one sometime soon and I'm neither excited nor sad about it
Now hold on a second, I don't care if Cap gets updated but all cowls everywhere make everything better, I don't particularly like Gambit's......thing, but Cap and Cyke's cowls are awesome, as are all cowls I have ever encountered in comics.
Plus, i'm always asking for stuff in there..........the amount of photoshops they do for me, sooner or later, I'm gonna have to pay them back with provocative photos or something.........

@X35: I've heard about the Dr.Doom thing before, at my local comic shops theres a lot of Spiderman 2099 and a few Punisher 2099's in the 25cent bin I've been thinking of picking up an this conversation is spurring it on. Anyway what happens to him ;D?
@TheCheeseStabber: Cap 2099? you don't really find out, Warren Ellis quit along with most of the 2099 writers after the 2099 editor was fired. All the 2099 comics went downhill and were cancelled soon afterwards. The story was concluded really rushed.......with doom getting revenge i think he was ate alive my termites or something like that? it was baaaaaad.
But the Warren Ellis stuff is really great (Doom 2099 #26-35 and then 2099 Apocalypse #1)........Spider-Man 2099 is ok too iirc.....just the minute Peter David quit it got unbelievably bad (with Spider-Man 2099 lifting Thor's hammer and becoming a god :|). Punisher 2099 on the other hand was pretty crap though.
@X35: I wonder if they ever reboot it i mean Spiey 2099 seems to be growing a bit with two new games out, be interesting to see i suppose, a rebot of an old franchise in comics
