Six issue mini-series. Captain America: The Chosen is an alternate reality take on Captain America wherein the super soldier serum has gradually deteriorated in Cap's system over the years, eventually reducing him to a withering away husk of a man, near death. In the short time he has left, Cap volunteers for experiments in remote viewing that enable him to project his image into enemy bases and, later, to communicate one on one with various soldiers in the field; inspiring them to finding their inner potential.
