First Official Captain America Movie Poster
I'm tired of marvel movies that have the characters loosin g the mask for most of it.I understand spiderman had a full face mask so Toby Mcguire had to take it off for dramatic facial expressions but its getting stupid now. Iron man also-half the movie hes walking around with out a mask.
Pretty nice as for not wearing a mask thell probably wait till a later poster. As for the costume I like it it doesnt really look modern to me.. i dont know but i think they just wanted cap to look like a total bad a$$ and in my opinion it worked pretty well.
His costume looks like a brand new suit that American military would come up with like right this minute.

Ironman in the first movie only took off his Helmet at home and when it was destroyed at the end. And in the second he had no secret identity. Honestly, go buy a helmet and try to wear it all day. It sucks. Even if it had an internal cooling unit and velvet padding, the lack of peripheral vision and the constant feeling that your heads in a box isnt someting you just ignore because the helmet finishes the suit.
Cap doesnt really have a secret identity either, so the helmet is just part of the effect. If he's just standing around in camp pondering who hes going to Avenge... he can probably do without the damn thing for 5 minutes.
O_____________O
OH FREAKIN' HECK TO THE FREAKIN' YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS THING LOOKS FREAKIN' EPIC!!!!!!!!!
The way I've been thinking this movie will work is that we'll be seeing Cap's last mission in WWII and his origin and first couple battles with the old shield will be shown through flash backs...but that's just how I think it will be done. Oh and btw the shield was in Iron Man 1 too
The shield in IM2 was just foreshadowing-- to show that he was coming if you paid really close attention.
IT'S THE MOST GLORIOUS THING I'VE EVER SEEN. I can't wait to see the minimalists take this on.
I think it looks good without his mask, but it should have been hanging somewhere - maybe the helmets' straps could be visible near his wrists or something, just for some fanservice and a visual reference.
The costume looks alright. If it was too modern it would be like latex or rubber costumes that most film superheroes wear these days. I'm ok with him without the mask since Cap America's identity was publicly known and I think that people would see him with or without the mask out in the open. If I'm not mistaken, his shield was supposed to be made of adamantium so why is it so scratchy?
So awesome. I'm stoked for this movie!
>_> People still say "stoked" right? Or am I just super lame?
