Cap is in for the fight of his life, but it may cost him much more than that. FIGHTING CHANCE is heating up!
Super-Patriot and Dead Ringer dig up the remains of Death Adder. Dead Ringer is able to touch those remains and gain the ability to transform into Death Adder. Diamondback is working out and Cap is enjoying the conversation and the scenery. The Super Soldier Formula in his body is starting to degenerate so he can only do some stretches which Diamondback helps him with. Fabian comes in complaining about not having his equipment yet. Cap gives him some busy work. Super-Patriot is dressing up as Captain America complete with a shield provided by the Tinkerer. Dead Ringer transforms into Night Flyer. The two fly away to hold up an armored truck and tarnish Cap's good name. Cap visits Falcon at his office in Harlem. Super-Patriot's armored car heist is successful but he and Dead Ringer (as Night Flyer) immediately run into The Resistants who want to make a name for themselves by defeating Captain America. A fight ensues. Bernie Rosenthal visit's Cap's new spot and runs into Diamondback. They chat. While eating at a local diner Cap and Falcon hear about the big fight that's happening and rush to get to the scene. After almost being defeated by Meteor, Dead Ringer switches to being Death Adder and quickly subdues all three Resistants. Code Blue shows up and takes The Resistants into custody. Super-Patriot (as Cap) is able to talk away his involvement in the armored car heist. Cap and Falcon are about ten minutes too late to get their hands on the Super-Patriot.
