Just saw a post of Reynolds talking DP future movie idea's. Where he mentioned possibly Cable or Black Tom as the villain. I think Bruce willis could pull of Cable...What do you guys think? Comment your thoughts, idea's, etc.

Na, he is a bit too bald for Cable, and putting a wig on might draw attention from "Wow I can believe how good is he's acting" to "Look its a wig!"



I think Jean Claude Van Dame would do good as cable.

BW easily could pull this role off as hes a quality actor.

Willis is a good actor, but I just don't see him as cable :(

If i had a choice it would be Wentworth Miller from Prison Break.The guys a great actor & imo would do a great job in bring the character to life.

jvd hasnt looked that good in years due to his coke hey days in the 80s and agreed that willis is great just not for that role. not really sure who would be good have to think about it and get back

I always thought Bruce Willis would make a good Guy Gardner if he were just a little younger. I dont know about cable though, Im sure he could pull it off.

I feel like Bruce Willis isn't too old. Ballparking it I'd say he's probably as old, if not younger than Cable. Also, I feel like Cable and Bruce Willis are perfect fits in terms of Cable's personality, or at least Pre-C&D Cable, a tired soldier fighting a war that there's virtually no chance of winning. The looks may not be an exact match, but I'd be happy to see Willis as my favorite Marvel character any day.

Rollins fits the role in posture and look, but my love for Black Flag aside, Rollins cannot act.

I'm going to have to agree with@Larkin1388: and go with Ron Pearlman.

Sean Connery without the accent about twenty years ago would have been perfect for a Cable role.

Stephen Lang and Michael Biehn are fan favorites for the role.

I'd rather see the bad guy from Avatar be Cable. BW would be cool to see as Cable, but I honestly think he'd be an epic Lex Luthor.

@threeheadedmonkey: You mean Ray Stevenson, who I agree would be a good choice but I would really hope that they wouldn't use him since he played the Punisher in Punisher War Zone, which he was fantastic in. That was a great movie, and he's a great actor, but it bugs me how much they use the same person to do multiple roles in Marvel movies. (Ryan Reynolds: Guy from Blade Trinity & Deadpool, Chris Evans: Human Torch & Captain America, Ray Stevenson: Punisher & Volstagg, Ben Foster: Neighbor in the Punisher with all the piercings and Angel in X-MEN First Class. I'd prefer if they went with someone new.

Didn't know he was in that metropoliskid. Maybe they should go with Rollins, if Deadpools in it they can introduce t-ray too and use Jerry Only from the misfits who i always thought kinda looked like him. Make it a whole 80's hardcore cast.
