After the success of Skate Muties from the Fifth Dimension (or SM5D as it was known), the team took a break before coming back with Bugs and Drugs. This new comic/zine followed the same formula as before but instead of concentrating on skateboarding, the publication covered a much broader spectrum of music and entertainment.
Publication was sporadic, six issues were produced between 1992 and 1995. The first five issues were in the standard UK A5 format (exactly the same size as SM5D), but the final sixth issue was a departure from the norm, with a full-colour cover and a new format (now in the slightly larger american comic book size).
The majority of the artwork (including the wonderful covers) were drawn by an artist called 'Beano'.
