    got some issues with this

It seems that although time is progressing, our beloved Slayer still seems as immature to me as ever. Luckily, she's not center-stage all that often which is kind of strange in and of itself.

Willow is back and as we saw at the end of issue #2 but completely in issue #3, and so is one of her worst villains. The leader of the Trio, Warren, is back indeed and still without that ever important epidermal layer to protect him from things like the sun.

In issue #4, yes I'm going to spoil, we learn that in the 4 seconds after a very dark Willow flayed the man who killed the love of her life, that sneaky old friend of hers Amy just happened to be there and save Warren's life. And ready for this? The evilness has brought them together and they are in love. Awww. Luckily the interior artwork of the Jeanty/Owens/Stewart team is not the super creepy style which would really make this couple jump off the pages and haunt me in my sleep. If Neil Gaiman was involved, (eeks) I'd run the other way. This pulp style is definitely helping maintain the light and humorous tone that encircles all the dark and evil of the Whedonverse.

Giles peeked in during issue #3 but then disappeared from the story. Nice way to tease.

Plus we are nowhere closer to getting Dawn back to her normal size. It's kind of interesting to note that when both Summers girls lost their virginity, something unfortunate happened.

Getting back to Willow, I understand where they are going with her being all goody-goody again but seriously, this is the most powerful witch on the planet. She's like Superman who has to hold back on every punch because he's that much stronger. The cover of Issue 3 has Willow in a hot outfit befitting a modern day uber-witch, but the interiors have her in a dreadful Ren Faire rip-off of a gown and corset. We haven't seen anything like it since she was dancing on the bridge with Tara in "Once More With Feeling" and it wasn't attractive then either.

I understand that Joss Whedon is handing over the reigns for the main scripting soon. I can't even begin to speculate what that will do it.
