Firestormjs last stand! Death in the family.

I was at first unsure whether or not I'd pick this up because Firestorm's story has been the least interesting but this was issue 22(my favorite number) so I thought why not. I picked this issue up and I didn't regret it one bit. I've been a fan of Firestorms supporting cast member Pohzar and Firehawk I think that's how you spell Pohzar's name(?) but haven't ever been a huge firestorm fan a bit but not a huge one and this issue changed that. 
 
Okay the Anti-Monitor V.S Firestorm battle is very very short but I got the variant only because the cover the Comic store had.

 

So art is nice Scott Clark did a nice job but I have to ask does he use a computer for the art? Ivan Reis's art is amazing again he only does like three pages but still.

 

Writing is amazing some very nice diologue good story.

 

 

SPOILERS!

 

 

Professor Stein dies and doesn't come back(yet?)  Deadman appears at the end he want's the White Lantern.

Firestorm's battle with the Anti-Monitor and the Black Lanterns finally resolves long-standing confidence issues he's had.  The Good Like I've mentioned for Generation Lost, the appeal of the more deliberate pacing of a release schedule like this is that you get to see deeper character studies and watch hard lessons amidst all the spectacular fireworks. It is Firestorm's turn to wrap things up as the end of Brightest Day approaches in a fun, action-packed showdown with the revived Black Lanterns that is almost distracting enough to keep me from wondering what exactly Firestorm's story has been in all this.  While most of the other Brightest Day storylines have revolved closely around the characters in a way that at least tries to rebuild or establish their own personal status quos, Firestorm's really has not had much to do with Firestorm.
