Has anyone else given this series a shot? I read the first issue and I thought it had potential, even though I noticed a few reviews that gave it a pretty low score, I didn't see it as that bad. I just finished the second issue and I was pretty underwhelmed. It just seemed a bit short, and not much happened. Amadeus acquired some more money, this time from a casino (first issue from a bank). Kindred re-stated that they had discovered how to create superpowers through "science," without going into any detail (same as first issue). I think I will pick up issue #3 because the idea "should," be interesting, but after 2 issues it doesn't feel like I know any more than I did after reading the previews. Maybe I'm just being impatient?
