This article is about the "original" Bors created for Seven Soldiers of Victory.

Born in ancient Camelot, Bors joined King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table.

Bors was created by Grant Morrison and Simone Bianchi. He made his first appearance in Seven Soldiers: Shining Knight #1. He is heavily based on the figure of Sir Bors the Younger from Arthurian legend.

Major Story Arcs

Seven Soldiers of Victory

Bors fights alongside his fellow knights against the Sheeda when they invade and begin to harrow Camelot. He survives the harrowing, and dwells underground for some time with the other remaining knights. With the Imperishable hammer he splits the atom, creating an atom bomb which the knights use to end the corrupt reign of Mordredd the Dead. He dies in the explosion, or soon after.

Powers and Abilities

Bors is an "optimum human;" as such he is extremely strong and durable. He is also very skilled in armed and unarmed combat.

Weapons and Equipment

Bors carries a large battle axe. He also possesses one of the Seven Imperishable Treasures, a hammer which is strong enough to split the atom. He wears armour, which protects him against blunt force injury.
