The Heir to the throne of Gondor, Aragorn was a ranger of middle earth and second in command in the Fellowship Of The Ring. It is his destiny to become the lost king of Gondor, but it is not a responsibility he wants.
Arwen was the Half-Elven daughter of Elrond who was also known as Arwen Undómiel or Arwen Evenstar in Middle-earth. She married Aragorn II Elessar and had become Queen of the Reunited Kingdom of Arnor and Gondor after the War of the Ring.

Legolas is the elf prince of Mirkwood son of King Thranduil, and the only elven member of the Fellowship Of The Ring
Meriadoc Brandybuck, Merry for short, was Frodo's cousin and one of his closest friends.
Boromir and Pippin were both members of the Fellowship of the Ring. Boromir died protecting Pippin and Merry but his death was in vain as they were captured anyway.
