    Origin

    Bolin grew up in the streets of Republic City with his brother Mako, after their parents were killed by a firebender. Bolin was born from a multicultural family, his father being from the Earth Kingdom and his mother being from the Fire Nation, After losing his parents to generate some form of income, the him and his brother ran small-time scams on the streets of Republic City during their youth and, for a time, also consorted with the Triple Threat Triad, then He and his Brother founded the pro-bending team, The Fire Ferrets, which Avatar Korra later joined. After the Pro-bending Tournament, Bolin joined team Avatar.

    Bolin is a protagonist in the Avatar series created by Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino. The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra is the direct sequel to the original 2005 Avatar: The Last Airbender.
