He served as a hero for years, and was one of the most popular heroes of his time. Adam was pressured by the government to retire, because of how much power he had and for being black. He was forced out of retirement to face his greatest foe and former best friend, Anti-Man.

    I don't know; this guy is pretty tough. It was said that The Blue Marvel has enough strength to split the moon in two with one blow.... I don't know maybe Galactus....

    Who ever you want to think is or isn't, but one thing that lead many, many comic fans into hating Sentry is fans who started going around forcing their opinions onto others. I have still personally yet to find one Blue Marvel fan who has such a negative, angry, insulting attitude in pronouncing Blue Marvel as the strongest, not as an opinion, but as a fact that Superman, Hulk, Sentry, Thor, Captain Marvel, fans have to take as the truth or otherwise get pestered with incessant fan boy arguments and insults.  
     
    Blue Marvel's mini numbers were poor, and the types of fans most likely to support the character? Its going to be a lot of fans who are already fans of Superman, Hulk, Thor, Captain Marvel, and so I dread the type of Blue Marvel fans who will go around insulting other characters, because thats going to help keep Blue Marvel in comic book limbo, and obviously as a fan I want the character to succeed.

    The guy in the back of the 7-11. I saw him bench a trash can filled with syringes, tire irons and unwanted Savage Dragon issues.

    @Franklin: Not many but I would say Worldbreaker Hulk, Galactus, Thanos, Gladiator and maybe Juggernaut. Though for sure he is on par with Thor and Hercules. It's kind of difficult to determine as he is quite new.

    Hmmm....BM cud take-on most(nt all) of those guys. He may nt b able 2 defeat most of dem but he sure as wud b able 2 pull-off a draw.

    U myt b underestim8ing d power of antimatta...."1 gram of antimatta is equivalent to 3 hiroshima atomic bombs" (u can chk it out online if u r in any doubt) & BM is an antimatta generator, now just imagine hw much pwr he has. Now imagine if BM is able 2 tap directly in2 d negative zone(an entire dimension composed of antimatta).

    @silver_zeal: i believe he could give any of those characters a run for their money at least. I am really happy we have a character of color with this amount of power, strength speed, intelligence and more. Maybe one day they will make a character of my ethnic background with half of his abilities

    blue marvel hasnt shown exactly what he's capable but he's not invincible. with that said tho, considering the nature of his power and his near total understanding of it....makes him terrifying
