Just curious- what if any is Blue Marvel's relationship with other African American/black superheroes/heroines- such as the Black Panther, Luke Cage,Pulsar,Falcon(Avengers), Storm and Bishop of the X-Men- surely he must be aware of their existence despite being officially in "retirement"?

@paracelsus: In Mighty Avengers was showned that he was a friend of Luke Cage's father when that was a NY Police Detective. And however, from Marvel Now we have Luke Cage, Pulsar and Falcon in the Mighty Avengers with him, and Black Panther in the Ultimates now, so it's clear that he know all of them

Before Marvel Now, other thant Luke's father [no, not Darth Vader!], it's unknown wich other black heroes he may know, but it's state that he have a quite good activities in last 30 years OUTSIDE of America, so he probably know Black Panther [or his father!]

So he "stayed current" as the saying goes!

Just to round out this discussion, Blue Marvel is friends with Luke Cage, Luke Cage's father, Sam Wilson, and T'Challa. Monica Rambeau is his new dime, although they haven't made it official. So he's made the rounds, so to speak.

It's not known how younger characters like Patriot view him. It would be interesting to see how the millennials view him.
