He served as a hero for years, and was one of the most popular heroes of his time. Adam was pressured by the government to retire, because of how much power he had and for being black. He was forced out of retirement to face his greatest foe and former best friend, Anti-Man.

    since he is antimatter.  is he immortal ?
    who should he be with silver surfer and his team? since he is a power house character.

    Well comic publishers don't really give a damn about ages but he was an adult during the Korean War which was in the 50's.He should be a senior citizen..so he's anywhere from like 60-85.He's definitely aging though judging by his change in appearance.I would assume his aging is just slowed.
