A Seies For Real Vampire Fans
This series is for real vampire/Dracula fans. It has three , eight page stories each story is Count Dracula, Death Dreams Of Dracula and Dracula 2199.
Count Dracula starts with our hero/villian the Count entertaining a young female. She eats dinner and of course he dines too.We cut into a village where we meet an Sir Herr Burkholdt is dining in a shop.We are then introduced to Aisa Burkholdt and a Fritz Goehling. Apperently the 2 young lovers are walking in the woods. They encounter Drac. Herr Burkholdt learns that it was a vampire and the police arrest poor Fritz for murder.
Death Dreams Of Dracula starts.Dracula is in the Carpathian mountains in 1892 wondering around. He spots a tree with rotted fruit. Our Count is then surrounded by his victims. They proceed to tell him they are going where the dead go and he is notallowed to go. We are seeing an old gypsy named Nagy who welcomes Count. He proceeds to tell him he is time lost on his way to death.. He is also told that people who are or will be affected by the Counts time on earth.
Dracula 2199 is the third and final series in this issue as it always is. . We are introduced seeing an old man walking in a castle. He walks up to a coffin and sacrifices a baby so that the Count will be resurrected and return to life. Well it does not work so the man takes the knife out and finally the Count returns to life and of course feeds his needs.
Wonderfully drawn and well written. I'm finally glad to finally have most of this series. I bought. 1,3,5,6, and 8 a few years ago in the warehouse of Rupp's Comics in my town. This year I mega ordered 2,7,9,10,11,12,13,15,16,17,18 from Mile High Comics for 50% off what a bargain and ordered #4 on-line from LoneStar Comics. Just missing 14 and 19 and 20 although no one has any of 20 anywhere so I am thinking that it was never printed. This is really Dracula a real vampire in all his savage blood wanton lust and nobility. I really suggest going out to getting a hold of whatever you can of this series and more reviews coming soon.
