    Hair: Brown.

    Skin: Caucasian.

Unusual Features: The Blob was abnormally large and obese.

    Powers:

Before being dempowered; The Blob was a Gamma-Level mutant whose mutant physiology granted him powers that are related to the mass, strength, stamina, endurance, resilience and indestructibility of his obese body. However the full extent of his powers were still not fully known; however Onslaught did teach the Blob the mass-controlling, quasi shapeshifting aspects of his powers. The Blob did however gain his powers back with the use of a drug called Mutant Growth Hormone or MGH.

Superhuman Strength: The Blob possesses great physical superhuman strength that originally allowed him to physical lift about 5 tons of weight. The Blob's superhuman strength has greatly increased over the years, in a manner similar to that of the Thing. This improvement is said to be a result of his ongoing mutation allowing the Blob to physical lift about 75 tons of weight, possibly more. The Blob can easily overpower and kill normal humans in a number of physical ways such as physical lifting them up with one hand easily and send them flying or hurl them around, and he could easily decapitate a normal human being with his bare hands. The amount of physical force the Blob can strike with is so great that unless he pulls his punches or kicks back; physical blows from the Blob at full force would easily prove fatal to that of a normal human being and it would take nothing more than a simple tap on the head for the Blob to knock out or even kill a normal human being. The Blob can physical break steel chains and handcuffs, easily punch through brick walls with a single blow without gaining any kind of physical injury, physical crush metal locks with just one hand, and physical crush or break through wood panels and templates; all of which the Blob can do without any effort. Not only can the Blob physical lift, move, and throw objects as big and as heavy as semi trucks or tanks with ease as well as lift large boulders, but the Blob can physical crush and even compress them as well and can even physical uproot objects like large trees and use them as weapons. Shown in the X-Men Evolution TV show the Blob was able to lift the entire Blackbird private jet over his head and threw it a considerable distance. The Blob is more than strong enough to physical go through most forms of reinforced man-made barriers such as glass, wood, most types of metal, brick or concrete walls with ease. This includes physical ripping through very thick steel that is more than several feet thick as if it was made out of paper with his bare hands effortlessly and the Blob is physical strong enough to climb the sheer surfaces of brick or concrete walls by digging his fingers into the walls allowing him to create his own handholds into them if he wishes and is also capable of physical bending or breaking most types of thick metal that are far more than several feet thick with ease. The Blob can even decimate full-sized buildings and other large structures with his own physical might easily.

Superhuman Stamina: The Blob’s highly advanced musculature are much more efficient than that of the musculature of normal humans as the Blob’s body produces considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of a normal human being giving the Blob superhuman endurance and stamina. As a result of that; the Blob can fight, run, and perform other physical activities that will allow him to physically exert himself at peak capacity for at least several hours on end before the build up of fatigue toxins in his bloodstream begins to impair him and affect his overall capabilities.

Superhuman Durability: In addition to his superhuman strength, The Blob's body possesses a high degree of resistance to all forms of pain or physical injury than that of the bodily tissues of a normal human being. The fat tissues that comprise the Blob's epidermis are able to absorb the impact of bullets from rifles and other forms of high caliber bullets, cannonballs, bazooka, torpedoes, and even missiles, and can also absorb the direct physical blows from strong superhumans such as the Strong Guy, Colossus, the Hulk, and the Juggernaut with far less physical injury than that of what would instantly kill normal humans or what lower level super humans would receive as all of whom are strong enough to easily kill a normal human being from the simple impact of their physical blows and withstand falls from a great height of over several stories while sustaining little to no pain or physical injury. Even Wolverine's claws have had difficulty penetrating the Blob's elastic, blubbery skin because of its elasticity although with enough sufficient force and a certain favourable angle, the claws can lacerate the Blob’s flesh. For instance, Blob once sat on the X-Man, but was forced to jump off in pain when Wolverine managed to extend his sheathed claws into his rear. The Blob could easily survive a head-on collision with a bus traveling at more than hundred miles per hour (160.934 kilometres per hour) and even survive a collision with a highly ferrous meteorite fifty feet (15.24 meters) in diameter on top of him at terminal velocity. The larger of those projectiles can recoil from his body at one half the force of impact. The smaller projectiles are embed within the layers of the Blob’s fat tissue, enabling him to eject them by merely flexing his muscles. The Blob's nerve endings do not relay any tactile perception to his brain which is near the threshold of pain. The fat tissue of his epidermis is resilient enough to revert to its normal shape within a second after the deformation is caused from the impact. The full extant and force of impact that the Blob’s body can withstand and absorb is not fully known. The Blob’s fat tissue is virtually almost impervious to physical injury. The Blob's skin cannot also be punctured or lacerated by most known materials as well as frostbitten, or ravaged by any kind of skin disease, due in part to the skin's greatest elasticity and toughness and in part to the highly accelerated rate at which the Blob’s skin cells grow at and replace themselves. However; there was one occasion, that a concentrated optic blast fired by Cyclops was sufficient enough to puncture a hole through his shoulder, much to the shock of the Blob himself. The magic swords of both Black Raazer and the Arabian Knight were also able to harm the Blob as well. However, even though the Blob’s body is more resistant towards fire, cold, or towards energy based attacks than normal humans, the Blob has shown to still be vulnerable towards burning elements and extreme heat, cold, or certain kinds or forms of energy based attacks. The Blob also has more of a resistance against alcohol due to his greater mass, though the Blob can still be intoxicated if he ingests large amounts of alcohol.

Pain Suppression: Due to the large inhuman amount of fat tissue, most of the Blob’s body absorbs most forms of kinetic energy wither they be bullets, punches, or kicks while feeling almost no form of pain. This does however depend on how great the kinetic force is or how strong that said person is.

Trapping: Even when capturing any form of projectile within his flesh (mostly around the torso area), the Blob has the control of holding the object for a desired amount of time and releasing it with or without recoil pressure. Meaning that if he was punched in the body, he could not only absorb the impact, but also capture and entrap the fist with his body for however long he desires, basically trapping the opponent. But it takes the Blob’s full concentration and focus to trap and object or individual, and if he were focusing on something else or disrupted by an attack from another, he would lose muscle control and release whatever he’s holding with his body. The Blob usually relies on his strength, but for some defensive cases he often uses his large stomach for deflection.

Redirecting Projectiles:As stated above after his body absorbs the kinetic energy of a large projectile's impact, the Blob can expel the object back. Meaning that if a cannonball was shot at him, it would be embedded within the Blob’s body and at will he could cause the cannonball to be recoiled at half speed. The Blob could also recoil a punch thrown at him and literally throw the opponent back at a powerful distance.

Gravitational Mass Allocation: Blob's main superhuman ability is to become virtually almost immovable by altering his personal mono-directional gravity field beneath himself to make himself virtually immovable as long as he is in contact with the ground. He does this by bonding himself to the earth beneath him by force or will, which in effect creates a mono-directional increase of gravity beneath him. This gravity field extends to about five feet (1.524 meters) in radius from his center of balance. Thus if there is a sufficient enough power or force to uproot him, it would take the ground beneath his feet in an area corresponding to the radius of the field. Due to this power, even some of the strongest superhumans within the Marvel Universe have difficulty moving the Blob as the only known beings on record to have been able to move the Blob against his will are the Hulk, the Juggernaut, and Strong Guy (who was powered-up near his full limit by absorbing the kinetic energy), although Colossus did manage to lift the Blob up by digging underground and raising the piece of earth the Blob was standing on, proving this to be an exception to the Blob’s immovability. Magneto once was also able to do the same by lifting the ground under the Blob's feet via metal pipes. Through intense concentration, the Blob is able to extend the gravity field beneath him farther than five feet (1.524 meters) to over 10 feet (3.048 meters). However, upon losing concentration, the Blob can be lifted by his own natural weight.

    Abilities

Education: The Blob’s education has been unrevealed.

Formidable Opponent: The Blob was a formidable hand to hand combatant. Although he possessed no formal training, his great size coupled with his physical strength and resistance to injury render him a highly efficient and effective street fighter. Despite his appearance as an overweight man, the Blob is hardly as slow as he’s easily predicted giving him a somewhat advantage over his opponents while possessing speed and agility roughly equal to those of a fairly athletic male of normal stature, a fact which frequently catches his opponents by surprise and off guard. The Blob has found a self-taught fighting skill by using his brute size, intimidation, and his mutant ability. In fights, the Blob most of the time launches his entire body at a designated target, causing a massive effect to the target. When coming to close hand to hand combat, the Blob naturally does one of two, by either overpowering the opponent with his massive size or entrapping them with his body. Without the use of his mutant ability and sheer size, the Blob does have naturally basic street fighting skills.

    Strength level

The Blob was originally strong enough to physical lift about 5 tons of weight. Before his dempoweredment, the Blob was strong enough to physical lift about 75 tons of weight possibly more.

    Weaknesses

The Blob’s major weaknesses were his short temper, lack of foresight, his lack of intelligence, and his easily-manipulated self-esteem.

Projected energy attacks, like Scott Summers' optic blasts, have been seen to penetrate his skin as on one occasion, a concentrated optic blast fired by Cyclops was sufficient enough to puncture a hole through his shoulder, much to the shock of the Blob himself.

Most of the Blob’s powers and mutant ability normally derives from his mental control and concentration, which is also another vulnerability seeing that he could lose his own concentration and that he would revert to his normal weight and could be lifted by his own natural weight.

Another disadvantage of his main super power is that the normal size of Dukes body balances his gravitational pull. Meaning that if he were to shrink to a smaller size, his body would be forced to sink into the ground below him until normal gravity is found to support his current weight.

The Blob is vulnerable to attacks directed at his face, such as his eyes, nose, mouth and ears as they do not have the same protection as the rest of his body.

The Blob can also be incapacitated by sensory assaults; for example, Banshee was able to render the Blob unconscious solely through the use of his sonic scream.

The Blob's elastic, blubbery skin can be used against him such as on one occasion; Sleepwalker defeated the Blob by using warp beams to wrap a steel girder around the villain, crushing his blubber and causing him great physical pain. The Hulk once took the opposite approach, harming the Blob by grabbing and stretching his flab.

While he is all but invulnerable to direct kinetic attacks, such as punches, kicks or gunshots, he is susceptible to concussions and other harm resulting from sufficiently powerful impacts, as Daredevil knocked him out by luring him underneath a massive bell and then having it dropped on him with the aid of a young female mutant.
